Opus 2 wins Excellence in Litigation at Legal Innovation Awards 2021

We are delighted to have won the Excellence in Litigation and Data Science Award, in recognition of our pioneering virtual hearings solution at this year’s Legal Innovation Awards 2021. 

The award was presented by David Halliwell, Partner at Pinsent Masons. David went on to offer the judging panel’s commendations saying that Opus 2’s virtual hearing solution had been awarded for being a “vital necessity in allowing the justice system to continue its work virtually in spite of the coronavirus lockdown, [and] for showing significant real-world impact”

The Legal Innovation Awards were held online and broadcast digitally, Chief Commercial Officer at Opus 2, Oliver McClintock accepted the award on behalf of the Opus 2 team.

As an organisation we are proud to have played our part, powering virtual and hybrid hearings globally and supporting our clients and the justice system at large in response to shifting needs.  Since March 2020 alone, we have facilitated almost 1000 virtual or hybrid hearings consisting of nearly 3000 sitting days and over 8000 participants.
